MD Concrete Solutions delivers skilled formwork, steel fixing and concreting for commercial and residential projects across Melbourne — from structural slabs and retaining walls to architectural concrete finishes.
MD Concrete Solutions is a Melbourne-based concreting contractor built around one idea: get the formwork, steel and pour right the first time. We work commercial and residential jobs of every scale — from a single footpath to multi-building school developments — and we treat each one with the same attention to detail.
Our team handles the full sequence in-house: setting out, formwork, steel fixing and finishing, so there's one crew accountable for the concrete from start to finish, not three trades pointing fingers at each other.
Formwork is where the finished result gets decided, well before a drop of concrete goes in. We run both horizontal and vertical formwork, from conventional ply and steel systems on structural slabs and footings through to vertical formwork for lift pits, cores and shafts — set out, plumbed, propped and stripped to tight tolerance on a fixed pour schedule.
On architectural work, formwork is the finish: curved and radiused wall forms, off-form panel layouts and edge profiles are all detailed from plan before a single frame goes up, so the stripped face needs no making good.

Formwork, reinforcement and precast concrete wall installation for the foundations of a small-scale waste-to-energy power generator, replicated across two separate farm sites. Cast-in fixings and structural steel were positioned to fine tolerance to suit mechanical plant installed by others on completion.
Formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement across a five-building school development, including over 2,500m² of concrete footpath. Structural slab formwork exceeding 1.5m required engineered propping, with architectural elements set out and finished to match the landscape design.
Formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement for a house slab and basement, carried through to a decorative exposed aggregate footpath. Basement construction included excavation and crushed rock preparation ahead of formwork, with the finished aggregate surface washed back and sealed.
Formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement to a decorative exposed aggregate footpath network and associated architectural concrete elements, set out and finished to a consistent specification across the site.
Formwork, steel fixing and concrete placement for a disability-compliant footpath and ramp, finished with upstand edging to meet NDIS access requirements and pumped into position for a consistent surface fall.
Formwork, steel fixing and concrete placement to 150 linear metres of curved architectural walls. Radiused formwork was set out in detail from plan view and coordinated with the landscape architecture to hold the design's curved geometry to line and level.
Formwork, steel fixing and concrete placement to 275 linear metres of architectural walls, set out in detail from plan view and coordinated with the landscape architecture layout to meet design intent.
